The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada is inviting submissions for the 2019 CAD $100,000 RAIC International Prize for Transformative Architecture. Entries from architects anywhere in the world, of any nationality will be accepted until April 26, 2019.

This unique international award recognizes the power of great architecture to transform society by being both inspired as well as inspiring and reflecting the values of equality, respect and inclusiveness. Projects must have been completed and in use for at least two years. Jurors will visit all finalists to see the buildings in use and appreciate their impact on society and human well-being.

Previous winners include the Fuji Kindergarten by the Tokyo firm Tezuka, founded by Takaharu and Yui Tezuka, and a library by Li Xiaodong of China.
