Founder and Creative Director at ROAR talks about the studio's vision and design achievements.
What are the latest exciting projects that you are working on that will come to life in the near future?
We are working on a workplace in Chicago, A Bleisure hotel in Rabat and a luxury residential development in Bali – locally some residential towers, workplaces for bluechip companies and 3 mosques.
Please mention some of your latest projects/ achievements as a firm (Top 3)
Setting up our Saudi office with operational staff has been a big one for 2024, handing over Ajman rulers court which was well received by the client , press and media alike. Growing our portfolio internationally – Morocco, Chicago and Bali.
Can you talk about a type of project that you would like to take on in 2025 that would interest you and your team to pursue (dream project that you would like to manifest)?
If the design genie grants wishes then the big win would be wellness focused mixed use development. We want to design a community with schools, homes, offices and hotels that have well being at the core.

How would you describe your ‘house style’ and design philosophy?
Everything we do is empathy based – from our process to the final design. We don’t have a signature style and that reflects in the diversity of our portfolio where we have projects that are minimalist to maximalist and everything in between. The process and approach to design is what sets us apart. We also believe in prioritizing functionality and budget over chasing the aesthetics.

As this is the power issue, what empowers you and your team?
Kindness and gratitude. towards each other, our work and our clients.
