Downtown Design Returns to Riyadh in 2026

The fair will run its second edition at JAX District

Downtown Design will make its anticipated return to Riyadh from 3–6 February 2026, once again transforming the creative landscape of JAX District into a meeting point for global and regional design. Presented in partnership with the Architecture and Design Commission of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, the fair will build on the resounding success of its 2025 debut and step confidently into a larger, more ambitious edition. As Saudi Arabia continues to rise as a creative powerhouse, the event will become a key marker of the nation’s evolving identity in the international design world.

The fair’s growth will mirror the rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia’s luxury design market, where demand for bespoke interiors and high-end craftsmanship will continue to shape new opportunities. Within this dynamic environment, visitors will encounter a curated showcase of global design excellence interwoven with emerging regional voices, offering a glimpse into the creative future of the Kingdom.

A number of celebrated exhibitors will return with new concepts and installations. Venini will enchant audiences with an installation inspired by the beauty and shifting tones of the desert landscape. Cosentino will revive its admired Art Deco–infused lounge designed with Etereo. Huda Lighting will reintroduce its expansive multi-brand presentation, while Scarlet Splendour will showcase its signature bold, sculptural pieces. Lasvit will unveil a bespoke lighting concept created by designer Martin Gallo, Serafini will present exquisitely crafted marble and onyx furniture, and Jaipur Rugs will bring forward a selection of contemporary handwoven designs.

The 2026 edition will also welcome an exciting lineup of newcomers. USM, pioneers of minimalist modular systems, will collaborate with Dhow Architecture Solutions on a standout exhibition concept. The Bureau of Innovation will present limited-edition contemporary furniture designed by studios from around the world, including Blue Green Works, Corpus Studio, Sophie Dries, Studio Khachatryan, Tim Vranken, and Tom Fereday. Sculptor Esther Knopfler will make her first international showcase with natural stone pieces. Poltrona Frau will present a refined selection of Italian-made furniture, while Nordic Homeworx will introduce its immersive ‘Nordic Cabin’ by Styled Habitat, led by Rabah Saeid. THG Paris, renowned for ultra-luxury bathroom fittings, will reveal a bespoke, majlis-inspired installation.

Regional exchange will continue to be a defining feature of the fair. From the UAE, Tashkeel will showcase works from its Tanween Design Programme. Pakistan’s mother–son duo Saira Ahsan and Yousaf Shahbaz will present their expressive Strata collection. Representing home-grown talent, the Designed in Saudi initiative led by the Architecture and Design Commission will highlight the Kingdom’s growing industrial design sector and its rising creators.

Downtown Design Riyadh 2026 will stand as more than an exhibition; it will be a celebration of a nation embracing innovation, artistry, and cultural expression. By bringing together pioneering international brands, regional studios, and emerging designers, the fair will illuminate a future shaped by ambition, collaboration, and a renewed appreciation for craft. As Riyadh continues to position itself as a global design destination, this edition will mark a bold step in that unfolding journey.
