Designing Homes for Ramadan and Eid

SEDAR and H&M HOME present a limited-edition collection inspired by seasonal gatherings and contemporary living.

In the spirit of the Holy Month, SEDAR Global has partnered with H&M HOME to introduce a limited-edition Ramadan capsule collection designed to bring refined seasonal touches into regional homes. The collaboration combines SEDAR’s 140-year design heritage with H&M HOME’s contemporary, design-driven sensibility, resulting in a thoughtfully curated range of decorative pieces that celebrate both tradition and modern living during this Ramadan and Eid.

The collection centres on the spaces that become the heart of the home during the season, from indoor majlis settings to dining tables prepared for iftar and everyday living areas where families gather. Each piece is designed to enhance these shared environments, allowing to introduce elegant festive details without the need for a complete redesign.

“We wanted to create a capsule that is both culturally considerate, design driven and contemporary. It is inspiring how homes come together during Ramadan – the warmth of hosting, the importance of shared spaces and the transition from quiet moments to celebration. We hope our customers will enjoy this special collectionand the festivities alike”, says Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, H&M HOME Head of Design & Creative.

Design is expressed through a soft yet celebratory palette of champagne, muted gold and emerald-to-sage green tones. Decorative cushions feature ruffled linen and velvet finishes, enhanced with hand-finished tassel detailing, piping and exclusive seasonal prints that add texture and depth to interiors.

The hosting edit extends to dining with coordinated table runners and matching placemats designed to create an elegant tablescape for iftar gatherings and Eid celebrations. Decorative bed runners paired with two matching cushions also offer a simple way to refresh bedrooms and majlis seating while maintaining a cohesive seasonal aesthetic.

“Working with H&M HOME allowed us to translate Sedar’s craftsmanship and understanding of how homes are styled during Ramadan into a contemporary, accessible collection. The focus was on versatile pieces that can be layered across majlis, dining and living spaces, and styled effortlessly from iftar gatherings through to Eid hosting.” added Besher Mahayri Head of Strategy at SEDAR.

Released as a limited seasonal drop, the collection offers an accessible way to introduce thoughtful design details into the home, reflecting the warmth, hospitality and elegance that define the Ramadan season.
