Urban Nest Concept brings curated interiors, creativity, and connection to the Beirut.
Urban Nest has expanded its footprint with the launch of Urban Nest Concept in Beirut, a new retail and creative space designed to celebrate the city’s distinctive spirit through curated design and immersive experiences. Founded by Janaika Elders, the Dutch entrepreneur behind Urban Nest Dubai, and Mixalis Khoury, a Dubai-based interior designer and artist originally from Lebanon, the concept reflects their shared vision and deep connection to the city.
The idea emerged from years of collaboration, during which Khoury sourced unique pieces from Urban Nest Dubai for his high-end residential and commercial projects. This creative exchange inspired the creation of a space in Beirut that blends carefully curated European collections with interiors shaped by the textures, architecture, and cultural heritage of the city. Elders’ experience in building Urban Nest Dubai into a hub for architects, designers, and creative professionals, combined with Khoury’s instinctive, sensory-driven approach to interiors, resulted in a concept that feels intimate, layered, and responsive to Beirut’s character.

The journey to opening was not without challenges. Amid ongoing regional uncertainty, the project required resilience, adaptability and a shared belief in the vision. “Some ideas feel too meaningful not to pursue,” said the founders.
Urban Nest Concept introduces Beirut to exclusive European brands such as HKLIVING, Audo Copenhagen, and Ferm Living, while serving as a hub for designers, architects, and enthusiasts to explore curated, character-driven pieces. The space goes beyond a traditional showroom, offering an environment where design, materiality, and storytelling converge to create meaningful experiences.

By combining the curated, design-led ethos of Urban Nest with Khoury’s textured, emotive interiors, the Beirut concept establishes a new benchmark for immersive design in Lebanon.
This launch marks a significant chapter for Urban Nest, extending its philosophy of design as a force for connection, creativity, and community.
