La Perla redefines seaside living with hand-crafted interiors and timeless architecture
La Perla, a striking new development on the shores of Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, showcased the artistry of modern Andalucian-inspired architecture paired with meticulously crafted interiors. Designed exclusively by The Fifth Designs, the project embodied the boutique firm’s philosophy of “precision, elegance, and an unwavering attention to quiet, intentional detail,” creating interiors that felt both timeless and deeply expressive.
Every corner of the seven-story development reflected a careful balance between innovative design and refined coastal living. Drawing inspiration from Spanish aesthetics, the interiors exuded warmth and sophistication, offering residents not just a visual experience but “an invitation to pause and exhale.” Exclusive finishes, hand-crafted details, and spacious layouts combined to evoke calm, comfort, and a luxurious, coastal lifestyle.

The outdoor spaces drew from Ras Al Khaimah’s seaside charm and timeless Spanish traditions. Anchored by a meticulously designed courtyard, the tranquil water elements echoed the spirit of authentic Spanish haciendas. By blending traditional shapes with modern materials such as gold lava stone, custom mosaic tiles, and state-of-the-art mechanics, the courtyard transported visitors into “a realm of chic nostalgic futurism,” embodying refined seaside living at its finest.
Inside, every detail was carefully tended to, from the world-class spa and wellness center to the café and private kitchens. Spacious balconies and plunge pools became private sanctuaries, amplifying the indoor-outdoor experience and weaving a seamless narrative throughout the residences.

La Perla was the result of the visionary collaboration between BNW X PEARL DEVELOPMENTS, led by CEO Reem Ashraf, marking their first partnership. The interior design, orchestrated by The Fifth Designs, reflected the studio’s unique creative voice. Founded by seasoned interior architects Durga Rawat and Noelene Trichardt, the firm had earned a reputation for pushing the boundaries of materiality and design, delivering crafted environments that anticipated stylistic evolution across all artistic disciplines.

Strategically located near global hospitality icons like the Wynn Resort, Nobu, and Rove Hotels, La Perla featured 57 exclusive residences and penthouses, a rooftop recreational club, dedicated kids’ zones, swimming pools, and an on-site café, offering both unparalleled design value and one of the smartest coastal investment opportunities in the region with 100 per cent foreign ownership.
La Perla on Al Marjan Island offers spaces that were not only visually captivating but profoundly immersive, elevating the concept of coastal luxury living.
