The identity guide to ISH Frankfurt 2025

The fair opens doors from the 17th to 21st March 2025

As the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and water solutions, ISH Frankfurt 2025 kickstarts from today (March 17th) to the 21st of March 2025. Held at Messe Frankfurt in Germany, the fair attracts over 2,000 exhibitors from 55 countries. Under the theme “Solutions for a Sustainable Future,” ISH 2025 emphasises climate protection and energy efficiency, addressing the pressing environmental challenges of our time.

Here are exhibits you can’t miss at ISH Frankfurt 2025:

LAUFEN

LAUFEN ILBAGNOALLESSI | ISH 2025

LAUFEN ILBAGNOALLESSI

At ISH 2025, sustainability takes center stage in bathroom architecture, with LAUFEN leading the way through innovative design and eco-conscious technology. In collaboration with the renowned Norwegian studio Snøhetta, LAUFEN presents a visionary exhibition stand that embodies the brand’s commitment to resource efficiency, water conservation, and CO₂-free production. The new stand transforms the visit into an engaging experience and highlights the central themes for LAUFEN: continuous technological research, the evolution of design, the dialogue with the world of architecture and, above all a future that prioritises sustainability and demonstrates greater care for natural resources. In Frankfurt, LAUFEN will present ceramic products fired without carbon emissions in the advanced production plant in Gmunden where the company has implemented the world’s first CO2-free electric kiln for the production of sanitary ceramics.  As water efficiency becomes increasingly vital, LAUFEN introduces advanced solutions, including the save! toilet with urine separation technology, developed in collaboration with EOOS. This system optimises wastewater treatment by diverting urine for resource recovery, reinforcing LAUFEN’s leadership in circular design. The LAUFEN Smart system also enhances water management in public and semi-public spaces. The brand’s Cleanet range offers intuitive controls, antibacterial finishes, and personalised settings to enhance hygiene and wellness in both residential and commercial spaces.

At this year’s ISH, the company will also showcase the world’s first electric tunnel kiln for sanitary ceramics production. The electric kiln, which required four years of development, replaced the previous gas kiln in the LAUFEN plant in Gmunden (Austria) in November 2023 and is the result of the collaboration with the German Keramischer Ofenbau, a world technological leader in the production of kilns for ceramics. The new oven marks a transformative step toward making the LAUFEN plant in Gmunden the world’s first net-zero ceramic production facility.

At the centre of the booth concept is ‘Matter’ in the dual English meaning of matter and relevance: this theme acts as a common thread and creates spaces based on a strong and emotional perception of the brand.  The Norwegian transdisciplinary studio Snøhetta started from the concept of Matter to define the LAUFEN brand experience which has been elegantly represented through the renovation of the LAUFEN Forum in the company headquarters, of the LAUFEN space Vienna and which found application in the design of the stand at the Salone del Mobile 2024.

ROCA

ROCA will present its latest bathroom collections, products, and cutting-edge technologies. Rooted in tradition yet looking to the future, the stand developed in collaboration with Barcelona-based Mesura embodies simplicity, warmth and innovation. Inspired by the interplay of light, materiality and space, the concept reflects Roca’s commitment to design excellence, sustainability and innovation. The design of the stand is based on three fundamental pillars: a return to our origins, our industrial leadership and our commitment to people and the environment. The structure is bold yet efficient, making a statement while using resources wisely. A system of modular wooden boxes forms a distinctive architectural composition, creating a sense of openness and adaptability. This approach eliminates the need for traditionally constructed ceilings, reinforcing the idea of lightness and sustainability. The design pays homage to the legacy of architect Josep Lluís Sert, incorporating his characteristic use of curved geometries and Mediterranean sensibilities. Through this vision, the stand seamlessly blends material honesty, environmental awareness, and a timeless architectural language, offering visitors an engaging and inspiring experience.
