Tacto by Levantin Studio
Designed by Levantin Studio for the Spanish brand Uneven Objects, the Tacto chair won the Archiproducts Design Award 2025. Designed as a visual metaphor for touch, embodied in a restrained yet expressive form; its image is shaped by the subtle interplay of elements, forming a composition that pauses in the moment. The chair’s surfaces approach each other, halting at the edge of merging, as if the structure is held together not by fasteners, but by mutual consent. The name Tacto refers to the Latin tactus – “touch, sensation, delicacy” and serves as an homage to the idea of structural balance and sensitive connection.
