Can you let us know about the latest exciting projects that you are working on?
At LWK + Partners, our work is a continuous dialogue between the built environment, culture, and emerging technologies, creating architecture that is both contemporary and timeless. One of our most exhilarating projects is a small-scale, cultural / exhibition space in one of the most prominent urban districts in Saudi Arabia that reimagines the integration of contextualism, innovation, sustainability, dynamic workspaces, and learn/leisure in a single ecosystem. This development emphasises biophilic design, embracing greenery as an intrinsic layer that bridges architecture and nature.
Additionally, we are pioneering a smart city initiative in Saudi Arabia, blending advanced AI-driven infrastructure with human-centric urban design principles. This project is a testament to how future-forward technology can coexist harmoniously with our shared heritage.
On a cultural note, we are collaborating with stakeholders across the MENA region and from around the globe to bring a modern reinterpretation of traditional forms. A particularly exciting project involves a sculptural hospitality project tower inspired by the intricate geometry of Hejazi art and architecture, where form, function, and craftsmanship converge seamlessly.
Each project embodies our ethos: to design spaces that inspire and endure, while responding to the evolving needs of society. At the heart of it all, we remain committed to crafting environments that not only serve the present but also leave a meaningful legacy in the context of place for generations to come.

Please mention some of your proudest achievements as a firm (Top 3)
At LWK + PARTNERS, our journey has been marked by transformative milestones that reflect our commitment to shaping human experiences through innovative design. Among our proudest achievements are:
One of our most notable achievements is the creation of integrated mixed-use developments that reimagine urban living. Projects such as Pulse Wadi in Riyadh stand as iconic testaments to the fusion of engineering brilliance and design elegance. This landmark project not only pushes the boundaries of structural innovation but also introduces a paradigm of seamless living, working, and leisure environments, wrapped in a contemporary reinterpretation of the Salmani Code embodying the dynamic spirit of the Kingdom.
A cornerstone of our practice is respecting cultural heritage while embracing modernity. The Agri Oasis Resort Project in Saudi Arabia exemplifies this principle. By weaving traditional architectural elements with contemporary design, we have created a unique destination that celebrates the region’s rich history while accommodating the needs of today’s guests, and travellers in the context of uplifting local communities. This achievement reflects our belief in the enduring power of contextually driven design.
This is one of the proudest moments in our journey at LWK + PARTNERS here in the Middle East. This recognition goes beyond celebrating our exceptional projects; it reflects the transformative work we’ve done to reshape our practice. The restructuring of the business, we’ve focused on fostering agility, resilience, and collaboration to ensure we stay ahead in a constantly evolving industry. What makes this achievement truly special is the incredible team behind it.
Empowering our people and nurturing emerging leaders has been at the heart of everything we seek to do, and this award is a testament to their talent, dedication, and shared vision. For me, it represents the power of collective effort and bold leadership in driving innovation and securing a sustainable future for our firm.
Each of these milestones illustrates our dedication to crafting environments that elevate quality of life while addressing the broader challenges of our time, from sustainability to cultural preservation. These accomplishments are not just benchmarks of success but also steppingstones toward shaping a more thoughtful, inclusive, and resilient built environment.
Can you talk about a type of project that you would like to take on in 2025 that would interest you and your team to pursue (dream project that you would like to manifest)?
In 2025, the dream project I envision would be a holistic urban wellness hub—a fully integrated community that redefines the intersection of health, technology, and urban living. This project would serve as a beacon for sustainable and regenerative design, demonstrating how architecture can be a catalyst for human well-being., it’s something we have been dipping in and out of over the last five years but never quite coming to fruition, it however feels like the time if we can find the right development team to work with us.
The concept would combine biophilic design principles with cutting-edge smart city technologies to create a self-sustaining ecosystem. Picture a space where urban farming coexists with high-tech residential modules, where mobility solutions prioritise pedestrians and cyclists, and where architecture actively improves air quality and energy efficiency. Public spaces would be designed as vibrant social sanctuaries, fostering community engagement and cultural exchange.
At the core of this project would be an emphasis on well-being through design, incorporating elements like naturally lit interiors, adaptive façades, and thermal comfort strategies working toward a net zero environment. We would also embed advanced healthcare infrastructure—virtual clinics, therapeutic green spaces, and AI-assisted wellness diagnostics—within the urban fabric to prioritise health as a fundamental aspect of daily life.
This initiative would be located in a region requiring a transformative vision, perhaps along the arid frontiers of the MENA region, showcasing how innovative design can mitigate environmental challenges, while enhancing the human experience. It would not merely be a place to live but an evolving model for future cities, inspiring both professionals and residents to embrace a more sustainable, connected, and meaningful way of life.
The opportunity to realize such a vision would align with our ethos at LWK + PARTNERS, to innovate, inspire, and improve lives through thoughtful, ambitious, and responsible design, and deliver commercial success for its investors.
How would you describe your ‘house style’ and design philosophy?
At LWK + PARTNERS, our ‘house style’ is less about a rigid aesthetic and more about a philosophical framework—a design ethos rooted in contextual sensitivity, human-centricity, innovation and commercial assurance. We strive to create architecture that is not only visually compelling but also deeply integrated into the cultural, environmental, and social fabric of its surroundings.
Personally, I believe our design philosophy is built on three key pillars:
Every project begins with an understanding of its place, its people, and its purpose. We approach each design as a compelling narrative that reflects the unique character of its context, whether it’s the historic richness of a Middle Eastern or the futuristic aspirations of an intelligent city. This ensures that our work feels authentic and meaningful while contributing positively to its environment.
We embrace innovation—not as an end in itself but as a tool to solve complex challenges. Whether through advanced technologies, sustainable materials, or intelligent urban systems, we aim to push boundaries while maintaining a balance between creativity and functionality. Our designs are forward-thinking yet grounded, blending technical precision with artistic expression.
At the heart of our philosophy is the human experience. We believe architecture should enhance lives by creating spaces that are intuitive, inclusive, and responsive. This extends to our commitment to sustainability—our work is designed to endure and adapt, addressing the needs of today while anticipating the challenges of tomorrow.
Visually, our work is characterized by an elegant simplicity and a harmony of form and function. We employ clean lines, dynamic geometries, and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces, all while ensuring the design resonates on an emotional level. Each project is a balance between artistry and pragmatism, driven by a desire to craft environments that inspire and endure.
In essence, I believe our ‘house style’ is a reflection of our belief that architecture is a living, breathing entity—one that evolves in dialogue with the people and places it serves. This is the ethos that defines LWK + PARTNERS and underpins everything we create.
As this is the power issue, what empowers you and your team?
What empowers us at LWK + Partners is a shared sense of purpose – a belief that architecture has the power to transform lives, shape communities, and leave a lasting impact on the world. This purpose drives everything we do, from the way we approach design challenges to the way we collaborate as a team.
Several key elements fuel this empowerment:
Our strength lies in the diversity of our team. We are a collective of architects, urbanists, designers, artists, thinkers and writers from across the globe, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise. This diversity creates a fertile ground for innovation, where ideas are shared, challenged, and refined to achieve the best outcomes. It is the synergy of our team that empowers us to envision bold possibilities and translate them into reality.
Working in the MENA region is a rare privilege – a place of rapid transformation and bold ambition – provides us with a unique platform to push boundaries and rethink paradigms. The region’s dynamic environment inspires us to innovate, addressing complex challenges such as sustainability, urbanisation, and cultural integration. The opportunity to contribute to this evolving landscape empowers us to strive for excellence.
At our core, we are driven by a responsibility to create designs that enhance the human experience while respecting our planet’s finite resources. Knowing that our work can improve quality of life and contribute to a more sustainable future gives our team a profound sense of purpose and motivation. This commitment empowers us to continually refine our craft and rise to the challenges of the modern world.
We are fortunate to work with forward-thinking stakeholders who trust us to bring their visions to life. Their aspirations inspire us to push creative and technical boundaries, and their confidence in our abilities reinforces our determination to deliver meaningful and enduring architecture.
Ultimately, what empowers us is the belief that architecture is not just about designing buildings – it’s about creating opportunities for connection, innovation, progress and empathy. This collective vision, combined with our passion and dedication, is what gives us the energy to shape a better world through design.
