DIDI to teach design strategy and entrepreneurship this spring.
The first multi-disciplinary design university in the Middle East, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), has marked the start of its second term with the introduction of design strategy and entrepreneurship teaching.
‘We’re nurturing the change makers of the future at DIDI, so it is important for us to offer a diverse curriculum. Teaching skills such as design strategy and entrepreneurship gives our students the opportunity to design a more sustainable future from day-one, applying strategies and future thinking empathetically and responsibly for world transformation’, commented Dean of DIDI Hani Asfour.
Dedicated to teaching design for the real world, DIDI students will now be able to study design strategy and entrepreneurship in their first year. Students will learn how to take an idea from conception to the global market, as well as the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and how to apply these skills to real life projects and future endeavors.
