Festive beauty: seasonal scents

Guerlain presents Absolus d’Orient, a collection of fragrant tales.

Just in time for the festive season and the start of the New Year, Encens Mythique and Bois Mystérieux join Guerlain’s coveted Absolus d’Orient collection. Finely presented in  in brown and orange  lacquered bottles, both are tied with a ribbon trim that intensifies the mystery of their contents, while they are topped with echoes of the rounded lines of the pinnacles of Eastern monuments.

These five fragrances complete the alluring collection:

Encens Mythique
This fragrance features the emotional flourish of frankincense that caresses a spicy rose with ardent accents. This neo-oriental embraces its paradoxes: we expect it to be opulent and smouldering; it proves smoky and stirring.

Bois Mystérieux
This dramatic scent is composed with a radiant jasmine that dares to fuse with the distinguished, tenebrous strength of a deep leather and two of the most precious woods – cedar and patchouli.

Oud essentiel
A regional favorite, it’s captivating laregly due to its  charismatic oud wood note, with powerful leather notes and the softness of a bouquet of Bulgarian and Turkish roses for a stirring sillage.

Santal Royal
This iteration features an enchanting sandalwood tinged with mystery, a subtle play of contrasts between dark leather notes and the luminosity of floral notes of jasmine and rose.

Musc Noble
This is a tempting fragrance that becomes one with skin, a sensual hero – mysterious, warm and powdery musk, haloed in a sensual breath of deep rose, the spicy, leather-tinged effect of saffron and the verticality of cedar wood, which elevates this fragrance to the apex of emotion.
