Technogym Retreat in Dubai introduced the new Technogym Run

The Technogym Retreat was a one-of-a-kind wellness experience, with the brand ambassadors from all over the world.

Technogym’s latest product launch – Technogym Run, was introduced at its private Retreat. The latest treadmill was launched during the event, together with brand ambassadors and long-time friends-of-the-brand from all over the world.

The brand chose Giulia Calcaterra, Janis Danner, Dan Churchill and Jeremy Jauncey – CEO of Beautiful Destinations, as the ambassadors for the event.

The team was hosted at the luxurious Atlantis The Royal resort in Dubai. The curated event featured talents performing top-level workouts in the new 12, 141-square foot Royal Mansion Penthouse – a stunning location that connects two sides of the iconic building.

Technogym kicked off the retreat with an early morning HIIT sunrise workout on the brand-new Technogym Run, the latest home treadmill which allows, for the first time ever, a single solution to training both strength and cardio, Bootcamp workouts, trainer-led sessions, routines and the best running feeling thanks to the slat-belt technology. All, in complete quietness.

“I’d encourage people to see Technogym not just as gym products but as an ecosystem that meets you where you are in your life,” explained Jeremy Jauncey. “The new Technogym Run is the most advanced home-treadmill on the market”.

The intense workout was followed by a nutrition class, during which the team was able to learn tips and cook together with Dan Churchill, performance chef and Culinary Creative Director of Centr – Chris Hemsworth’s lifestyle app.

With summer coming up, Dan Churchill provided the Technogym team and wellness enthusiasts with nutrition tips to help stay fit.

“People have become more in tune with sleep and wearable technology to quantify how they are sleeping,” said Churchill. “I see these devices only getting only more accurate. Whilst we see some companies doing it now, I feel the future is going to include the ability for every body truly able to quantify how they are absorbing certain foods and are able to check hourly what they are deficient in so they can adjust their meals for the rest of the day”.

After the class, the team headed to the Technogym Dubai boutique and Experience Centre, designed to become a point of reference for all of its clients, partners and stakeholders. Inside, guests got to experience the complete Technogym ecosystem made of connected smart equipment, digital services, on-demand training experiences and apps that allow every single user to access a completely personalized workout anytime and anywhere: at home, at the gym, on-the-go.

For the second day of Retreat, the brand took the team to the desert for a breathtaking workout experience at dawn with top-notch fitness solutions, like Technogym Bench, the innovative, functional and strength training station, and Technogym Skillmill, the only non-motorized product that combines power, speed, stamina and agility training. Technogym went all out: never before had fitness equipment been placed and used in a similar environment.

“We wanted to celebrate the launch of the new Technogym Run, show how effective it is in a home and hotel environment but also take equipment out to the desert – like the super iconic Skillmill and Technogym Bench, plus other functional training tools – and show the versatility of the products in very different environments”, said Jauncey.

“This project has been a year in the making and combines two passions at the heart of both Technogym and me – training on the world’s best equipment… and doing it in the world’s best hotels. The vision we had in launching Technogym Retreats was to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences in beautiful destinations, whilst learning new skills with world-renowned experts.”
