teamLab’s exhibition at Finland’s Amos Rex museum explores the idea of ‘masslessness’.
In just a few days, life in Helsinki’s going to get a lot brighter. Opening on 30 August, teamLab’s inaugural exhibition, Massless, at the Amos Rex museum in Finland will show their bold new works in an immense and distinctive underground exhibit space.
The concept: digital has liberated human expression from the physical and so expression no longer requires an irreversible bond to material in order to exist, thus dissolving the notion of mass. And expression freed from physical constraints can also make our experience of artworks and space ‘Massless’. 30 August – 6 January 2019.
