Preview Style Bangkok at INDEX

The Thai Pavilion will showcase the country’s best.

A curated representation of Thai design and craftsmanship will be showcased by thirteen companies that are exemplary examples of the Thai ethos.

Dubai will have a first-hand opportunity to taste the delicious new lifestyle products offered by the Thailand furniture industry. The Thai Pavilion at INDEX, at the Dubai World Trade Center from September 17-19 will present a tantalizing preview of Style Bangkok, Asia’s most comprehensive international lifestyle trade fair coming in October.

For more than twenty years, Style Bangkok has celebrated the trends of tomorrow. Encompassing furniture, fashion, décor, gifts and more, the yearly extravaganza incorporates three mega fairs into one prestigious exhibition. The next edition of Style Bangkok for 2019 fuses original creativity and innovation with outstanding Thai craftsmanship under the Crenovative Origin banner.

Encompassing furniture, fashion, décor, gifts and more, the yearly extravaganza incorporates three mega fairs into one prestigious exhibition.

A curated representation of Thai design and craftsmanship will be showcased during the Design & Hospitality Week by thirteen companies that are exemplary examples of the Thai ethos. A wide range of products and materials, including furniture, carpets, art and decorative objects, and lifestyle products will be presented. Throughout, the one thread that connects the collection is the encompassing Thai factor.

Thai industry is built on its highly skilled workforce of talented and artistic craftsmen, many of whom have been trained in the traditional methods passed down through the generations. Combining this with a rich diversity of sustainable natural resources such as bamboo, rattan, and water hyacinth, the Thai furniture industry has developed into a leader in responsible global standards. Among the highlights at the Thai Pavilion at INDEX will be brass furniture and sculpting from Massaya, exquisite carpets made of luxury materials like silk, wool and bamboo by The Carpet Maker, and creative upholstered furniture by Mobella.

Other outstanding companies will include Touchable (custom furniture and unique objects from the recycled waste ‘leftover materials’), 5IVE SIS (objects of gold), Deesawat (custom fine wood furnishing for the hospitality industry), Green Latex (foam bedding), Kenkoon (sophisticated outdoor products), Moonler (contemporary wood and metal furniture), Performax (woven furniture made from the water hyacinth), Bigbang Art Studio (art inspired by celestial bodies), Thaniya (Ceramic art pieces and natural fragrances), and Mr. Big (ergonomic sleep solutions).
