Bottega Veneta has opened its first flagship store in Kuwait, at The Avenues Mall. Covering 415 square metres and accessible via three entrances, the boutique showcases an extensive range of Bottega Veneta pieces for men and women, including ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, shoes, jewellery, fragrances, eyewear and accessories.
The interior has been designed around the theme of lightness and features a façade made from silkscreen glass panels, recalling the House’s emblematic Intrecciato motif, as well as Marmorino walls and floors made from natural oak wood and ivory limestone.
Sleek lighting coves run along the ceiling perimeters, bathing the walls with light to enhance the variations of textures and materials. The entire interior is custom-made – from the new display tables made from pale natural-hued oak wood, silver Travertino and glass, to the hand-crafted vitrines and door handles sheathed in leather.
Furniture from the Bottega Veneta Home collection is featured throughout the store, including vibrantly coloured pieces from the modernist Tassello and Rudy families.
Bottega Veneta has been present in Kuwait since the opening of its primary boutique in the 360 Mall in 2010; the new flagship store is the brand’s fifth point of sale in the country.
