How to Spend It honors the renowned mosaic masters.
Fantini Mosaici, whose catalogue of bespoke mosaic projects include the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Palazzo Versace Hotel & Condominium, created a large-scale mosaic of the painting, Schwarzheide by Luc Tuymans. At the opening of Milan Design Week, a miniature of the Venice masterpiece was unveiled at the Fantini Mosaici Space in Milan.
The event, presented in collaboration with How to Spend It, included videos of their artisans at work, as well as completed projects.
In addition to massive commercial projects, Fantini Mosaici also produces mosaic panels and smaller, more human-scale projects for residences. The spectacular new Fantini Mosaici showroom will open soon.
