Jewellery house Cartier donates to Emirates Red Crescent’s COVID-19 Fund

The Maison is giving back.

Across the globe, luxury houses are doing their part to support those on the front line of coronavirus pandemic.

On a local scale, jewellery house Maison Cartier has pledged to donate to the Emirates Red Crescent’s ‘The Homeland of Humanity’ fund. It will assist the region’s most vulnerable people to fight against COVID-19.

“As a Maison, we feel strongly about expressing our gratitude to the people of the region; and what a better time to do so than the month of giving, the holy month of Ramadan,” explains Christophe Massoni, CEO of Cartier in the Middle East, India and Africa.

“More than ever, Cartier remains committed to supporting the less fortunate, those affected and the people caring for them during this difficult and unprecedented time.”

The fund was set up in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent and other humanitarian and charity organisations and societies in the country.

The main objective is to support the efforts aimed to bring the coronavirus under control, and to create convenient conditions for families and various segments of society to stay home and protect themselves from the consequences of the virus.
