Time & Style

The exhibition will feature furniture by Kengo Kuma in Amsterdam showroom.

Visitors to Amsterdam this summer should be sure to explore an exhibition of furniture designed by architect Kengo Kuma. The Time & Style showroom in Amsterdam will celebrate ten years of collaboration with the Japanese architect.

Although well-known as an architect and for his use of wood and natural materials, Kuma also independently designs almost all of the furniture that accompanies his structures. His functional, durable and versatile furniture range of chairs, sofas, tables and coffee tables seem to blend into the surroundings, whether in a commercial or residential setting.

The show that runs from June 22 through August 18, 2019, will be the first European exhibition of the furniture he has designed for Time & Style. On Friday, July 26, Kengo Kuma himself will discuss the relationship between architecture and furniture in his various projects.
