Melia Desert Palm Unveils the Al Waha Family Villa

The resort has unveiled a three-bedroom sanctuary that seamlessly blends Arabian and Spanish influences

Melia Desert Palm

Designed by the interior design team at Albwardy Investments, under the leadership of interior designer Pol Domènech Simó, the Al Waha Villa at Melia Desert Palm spans 585 square meters and features three spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and living area, and a private courtyard with an expansive pool. The villa offers sophistication and comfort, designed to offer a unique fusion of cultures and styles.

A standout feature of the villa is the meticulous attention to detail in the custom-made furniture, crafted locally in Dubai to perfectly complement the overall design. The lounge’s ceiling lamp, made from recycled bottles, adds a touch of sustainability, reflecting the resort’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

The interior color palette, carefully curated to align with the Meliá brand’s identity and the lush greenery of the surrounding Desert Palm Polo Club, features warm earthy tones intertwined with touches of brown and green. This harmonious blend reflects the elegance and serenity of the environment, creating a tranquil haven for guests. The furniture was provided by ISTANA Furniture, ensuring that every element of the villa exudes quality and style.

Simo has collaborated with prominent studios such as Lagranja, Stefano Colli, and Emiliana in the past, and his design style evokes well with the codes of the resort. The selection of materials and finishes reflects this cultural amalgamation, with ceramics evoking the richness of Arabian craftsmanship and warm, earthy tones reminiscent of Spain’s natural beauty, the birthplace of the Meliá brand. The luxurious atmosphere is further enhanced by in-room amenities curated by the Barcelona-based perfume brand Carner, creating an inviting environment that encourages guests to immerse themselves in memorable experiences.
