During Milan Design Week, Longchamp announced its first ever furniture collaboration with Pierre Renart. Renart has designed two signature pieces for the brand, including the Wave leather bench and the Ruban chairs. Crafting from American walnut and upholstered in supple cowhide leather, Renart has drawn influence from the organic forms of nature. Extremely thin sheets of wood are bent into the desired shape to appear sculpted in one sweeping movement. The bench is upholstered in a burgundy shade, while the eight chairs are each covered in a different colour, including Longchamps’s signature heritage dark green and light green.
