300-piece art installation at Jumeirah Beach Residence is six metres high.
IKEA has celebrated the opening of its second store in Dubai’s Festival Plaza by creating a six-metre-high art installation at Jumeirah Beach Residence using some of its iconic furniture pieces.
Weighing one tonne, the structure comprises 300 pieces, including the iconic POÄNG armchair, STRANDMON wing chair, new TRANARÖ stool, HEMNES bedside table and KALLAX shelving unit.
Covering 35,500 square metres, the new store is IKEA’s second in the UAE and its 468th in the world.
