What's more stylish than black and white? Herman Miller's 'Overlay' is a system of freestanding, sub-architectural walls. The movable walls can be used to create freestanding rooms, give shape to open spaces, or simply divide areas. A three-sided workspace can become a designated area for impromptu meetings or collaborative work, for example. Or four Overlay walls can create an enclosed meeting space—complete with a door—that offers some visual and acoustical privacy. www.herman-miller.com

Stop, take a moment and look around. Each day we’re surrounded by red, black, green, white and black in our homes, offices and anywhere we can decide how to adorn ourselves and our spaces.  Inspired by National Day and the colours of the flag, we took a look closer look at furnishings and accessories in these symbolic hues. From the smallest home accessories to grand decorative objects designed to honour Emirati traditions, we were amazed at how easy it is to celebrate regional pride every day.
