Casamia & Mustard & Linen host a cultural exchange celebrating Emirati Women’s Day
In the spirit of Emirati Women’s Day, Casamia and Mustard & Linen came together to host a gathering that celebrated artistry, heritage, and community. Rooted in a shared belief that design is a bridge between cultures and people, Casamia and Mustard & Linen welcomed a circle of women to an intimate ikebana workshop at Mustard & Linen’s Abu Dhabi space.

Guided by Alia Al Rasheed, an Emirati instructor certified by the esteemed Ohara School of Ikebana, the workshop introduced guests to the meditative Japanese art of floral arrangement — a practice centered on simplicity, balance, and an appreciation of nature’s quiet details. The evening embodied the values both brands share: a commitment to culture, community, and cross-cultural exchange. As conversation flowed and flowers took shape, the workshop became more than an activity — it was an expression of solidarity, artistry, and the beauty of women coming together across disciplines and backgrounds. Refined culinary creations by Cheffe D’Oeuvre further elevated the setting into a moment of inspiration and celebration. This gathering stood as a reminder that the journeys of Emirati women, while rooted in tradition, continue to inspire and intertwine with the wider creative fabric of the region.
