As summer comes to a close, we’re headed to the Dubai Design District (d3) for an autumn design awakening.
Firstly, we plan on viewing Molecule’s Autumn Art Wall exhibition, their collaboration with Gallery Ward.
Our next stop: the Nagami exhibition at AR Gallery. This Middle Eastern debut of Nagami’s work, which explores the future of object design through the lens of pioneering production technologies. Collaborating with design superstars such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Ross Lovegrove, Manuel Jiménez García and Daniel Widrig the Spanish design brand pushes the limits of imagination and possibilities in their quest to create groundbreaking objects and manifest exceptional environments.
Fashion-lovers are also in for a treat with the Summer Mood Pop up by Asya Krasnaya – just in time to help transition into your autumn work wardrobe. It features with stylish from unique designers and discounted Fall/Winter 19 collections of clothing and home accessories. But get there soon—it ends 15 September!
Their culinary offerings are just as alluring. For those on the lookout for a quick bite, The Kitchen deli restaurant is set to open mid-September and will offer traditional home-cooked favourites such as mixed grill, shish tawook, fatoush and lot more including comfort food classics with a modern twist in a relaxed and casual setting.
The Craft Café is great place for a bit of sweet inspiration. In addition to a coffee (tea) + pastry of your choice, you can choose a croissant, pain au chocolat, muffin or cookies) for only AED25, their weekly pop-ups offering everything from handcrafts, accessories, jewelery to home décor.
And for a romantic evening or just great night out with friends, Chez Charles has created special events throughout the month. Oysters Night at Chez Charles, where you can enjoy the finer things in life, will be on Monday, September 10th and Retro Night where you take a journey through pop, rock, swing, and soul; with a soundtrack from the 60’s 70’s 80’s & 90’s mixed by DJ ELIOS. Thursday, September 20th. Finally, for the ultimate fine-dining experience enjoy Chez Charles’ Mussels Night where you get all you can eat Mussels on Monday, September 24th.
