Weekend getaway in Dubai

The first of 10 luxurious Sweden Beach Palaces has been unveiled at Dubai’s Sweden Island.

Kleindienst Group, developer of The Heart of Europe, a cluster of six islands on The World, has revealed their latest luxury development to the public: The Sweden Beach Palaces at Dubai’s Sweden Island.

The new development will consist of nine decadent palaces, plus one super-sized version, set in the beautifully landscaped, lush green surroundings of Sweden Island. Each property will have its own private section of beach, and unique to the palaces, a fully-owned piece of the marine area plot, including a private coral reef.

The properties have been designed as second homes located in Dubai’s first purpose-built luxury area for UAE residents to own a holiday property in their own country. The second home market is a new concept for Dubai.

As their website explains, Sweden Island’s shoreline will boast 10 prestigious beachfront villas inspired by the beautifully crafted and intricate structure of inverted Swedish Viking vessels. The roof of each majestic seven-bedroom residence will resemble the upturned hull of a Viking ship and inside each luxury abode, a stylish interior unfolds. Synonymous with clean lines, stunning design features and functionality, each Sweden Palace offers the very best in modern Scandinavian living.
