Project is first hotel project in Italy for the former identity Design Awards juror.
A charming five-star boutique hotel situated in the heart of Rome, the Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese has re-opened following a complete renovation by former identity Design Awards juror Jean-Philippe Nuel.
The architect and interior designer has emphasised the way the hotel links the opulence of Italy to the elegance and refinement of France, echoing his personal experiences.
The 78-room hotel is located in front of Villa Borghese Park, a few steps away from Via Veneto and close to famous sights such as the Piazza di Spagna, Villa Medici, Via del Tritone and the Trevi Fountain. At the hotel itself, guests can enjoy the rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar, which offers breath-taking views of the city.
