Nikken Sekkei fuses Japanese precision and Manhattan confidence in a new icon for branded luxury
Rising 350 metres above Sheikh Zayed Road, Trump Tower Dubai is set to reshape the city’s skyline, offering a new vision for high-rise luxury. Designed by Japanese architectural, engineering and urban design firm Nikken Sekkei for Dar Global, the tower combines bold geometry with meticulous detailing to create a landmark that is both visually striking and functionally refined.
The design reflects a fusion of Manhattan’s confident forms and the disciplined elegance of Japanese architecture, interpreted by Nikken Sekkei’s Dubai studio to produce a structure that is globally ambitious yet culturally sensitive.
“Trump Tower Dubai blends bold geometry with crafted detail to create a landmark that is both visually striking and functionally refined. The design draws on the confident forms of Manhattan and the architectural discipline of Japan, reflecting our commitment to proportion, restraint and long-term value. We are proud to set a new benchmark for how global design intelligence can shape the future of high-rise luxury in the region, elevating branded living through clarity, precision and cultural relevance,” said Dr. Fadi Jabri, CEO of Nikken Sekkei Dubai.
Finished in graffiti grey with rounded corners and golden accents, the façade evokes a sense of understated luxury, while a subtle zigzag motif pays homage to the original Trump Tower in New York. The crown of the tower opens into a series of indoor and outdoor spaces that cascade above the city, offering residents what the design team describes as “luxury above clouds” with panoramic views and a rare sense of openness. Every proportion and detail has been carefully considered to cultivate calm and elevate the experience of living high above the urban bustle.

The interiors continue this philosophy, with spaces designed to offer a curated lifestyle rather than mere decoration. The Trump Club, exclusive to residents, includes a spa, infinity pool, cigar lounge, fine dining and leisure areas, all seamlessly integrated into the architectural experience.
Parking is cleverly concealed behind vertical louvers, preserving the façade’s elegance, while a multi-storey car park directly connected to the tower houses a gym, children’s play area and observation deck, ensuring functionality without compromising design.
Trump Tower Dubai is more than a building; it is a statement of how branded residences can evolve. It demonstrates how luxury can be redefined through proportion, craft and cultural relevance, bringing together form and function, global vision and local authenticity. It is a tower that reflects the values of the city it serves while setting a new standard for high-rise living in the region.
