The aim of the innovative Kalida Sant Pau in Barcelona is to improve the quality of life for those battling cancer. With the contributions of internationally recognized names, the centre offers a protective, friendly environment without references to a hospital or health centre.

Architect Benedetta Tagliabue from the Miralles Tagliabu EMBT studio carried out the architectural design. Patricia Urquiola and her team at Studio Urquiola signed the interior design. People can relax in the airy internal spaces as well as the outside gardens on the armchairs, chairs and tables generously donated by Kettal.  Other firms such as Cappellini, Arlex, Andreu World and Viccarbe also made beautiful and greatly appreciated contributions for the comfort of cancer patients and those who support them during group activities, individual counselling sessions and dining.
