aura to launch Professional Designers’ Discount programme on 5 February

Exclusive event at Cosentino’s d3 showroom will also feature elements of the brand’s latest collection.

On Wednesday 5 February, modern home furniture and accessories brand aura will be launching its new Professional Designers’ Discount programme at an exclusive lunch event at Cosentino in d3.

Elements of aura’s latest 2020 collections will also be on show. Taking inspiration from design exhibitions, including Maison et Objet, Salone del Mobile and the fashion catwalks, aura’s collections are ‘of the moment’ while appealing to the tastes, preferences and customs of Middle Eastern residents. From natural wood moulded with metallics, and pastels on marble, to modern twists on traditional elements, aura’s signature designs are created in collaboration with regional and international designers, such as Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Key pieces include the Celeste dining chair in sophisticated neutrals with gold accents, the eight-seater Mojave table in white marble from Guangxi in China with a finish of marble foil and lacquer for superior protection, the Crush sofa in teal accents and upholstered with extra luxurious goose feather cushions, and striking gold Lane vases from Asia with brass-plated containers set on steel plinths.

aura’s unique edit of accessories is thanks to its range of suppliers from 35 countries, which have been curated over the last nine years since the elite brand launched in Saudi Arabia.

The relationships ensure not only quality but also affordable price points. Portuguese porcelain, lacquered pieces sourced from Vietnam, glassware blown in Turkey, Chinese wood, acrylics produced in Italy and reclaimed wood and textiles imported from India are all part of the mix. There’s also the Kid’s Collection, which focuses on fun and functionality, while the Spa Collection has everything to create the perfect bathroom – from towels to tempting oils and creams. Don’t leave without testing the new candle range. China Blue is a blend of tuberose, white jasmine and lime; Shanghai Amber is defined by notes of amber and vetiver; Tuscan Fig blends fig, cassis and cedarwood; and Amalfi White is an elegant melange of rose, lavender and neroli.

These diverse collections all reflect the brand philosophy or ‘way of living’, with designs that are the epitome of quality and hospitality.
