Who can enter

• Interior design and architecture professionals working in the MENA region.
• Global practices with regional offices are eligible to submit.
• Global practices with projects in the Middle East.

What projects are eligible

• All projects need to be completed at the time of entry and should not be more than two years old, with the exception of Project of The Future, which should be under construction (or about to begin construction) at the time of entry – site images should be provided.
• Finalists for the main interiors and architecture categories will be considered for the Design of the Year Award within their respective fields.

How to submit entries:

• Download the id Design Awards 2022 entry form on the Submission page. Make sure to fill out all required fields, where applicable.
• Upload the completed entry form/s. You can upload up to 15 entries at the same time. Maximum file size: 8 MB per document
• Fill out the required contact information for registration, then click Submit.

Submissions

Each entry must be submitted in a low-resolution PDF (8 MB maximum size) that includes the following information, and visuals:

• Design studio, address and contact details.
• A detailed-project description.
• A comprehensive selection of captioned, professionally-photographed images, plans, renderings and sketches.
• Select relevant low-resolution project images that best highlight the project’s strongest design elements.
• Paste a Dropbox link with all high-res images of the project (including renders, completed images, sketches, and under-construction images for the ‘Project of the Future’ category) in the document.
• Multiple entries are accepted.
• For Outdoor Design, download the Architecture form.
• For Project of the Future, download either the Interior Design or Architecture, based on the project type.
• Entries are free of charge.
• All fields must be completed.

How submissions are judged

• The criteria for the awards remain true to id’s proud DNA and will seek to reward design excellence, originality, sustainability and aesthetics.
• Entries should reflect the contemporary editorial profile of identity magazine. 
• The entries, to be submitted online, will be independently judged by our international jury, with each member renowned for their expertise in the design field.
• The judges will seek to identify the best examples of pure, precise, clean and dynamic contemporary designs in each category.
• In short: designs that go beyond the usual and make bold, brave yet functional statements.
• The judges’ decision is final.

When

• Deadline for entry: October 7
• Gala Night: November 17
• Table bookings will be available on the Awards page
• Winners will be announced at the Gala Night
• The winning projects will be featured in the December 2022 issue of identity
